An unnamed area of Holocene basaltic lava flows occupies both sides of the axis of the main Ethiopian Rift. They were erupted from pyroclastic cones located between Kone and Boset-Bericha volcanoes, SE of the capital city of Addis Ababa.
The Global Volcanism Program is not aware of any Holocene eruptions from Unnamed. If this volcano has had large eruptions (VEI >= 4) prior to 10,000 years ago, information might be found on the Unnamed page in the LaMEVE (Large Magnitude Explosive Volcanic Eruptions) database, a part of the Volcano Global Risk Identification and Analysis Project (VOGRIPA).
The Global Volcanism Program has no synonyms or subfeatures listed for Unnamed.
|A chain of young cones extends NNE-SSW left of the center of this Landsat image. This unnamed area of Holocene basaltic lava flows occupies both sides of the axis of the Main Ethiopian Rift. The flows were erupted from pyroclastic cones located between Kone and Boset-Bericha volcanoes, SE of the capital city of Addis Ababa. Fresh-looking, dark-colored lava flows at the top left were erupted from Kone (Gariboldi) volcano and those at the extreme bottom left from the Boset-Bericha complex.

The following references have all been used during the compilation of data for this volcano, it is not a comprehensive bibliography. Discussion of another volcano or eruption (sometimes far from the one that is the subject of the manuscript) may produce a citation that is not at all apparent from the title.
