The 100,000 km² Harrat Ash Shaam volcanic field extends from the NW corner to the SE corner of this February 2021 Planet Labs satellite image monthly mosaic (N is at the top; this image is approximately 480 km across). The Harrat contains several volcanic fields including Al Harrah, Jabal ad Druze, Es Safa, Golan Heights, and the Kra Lava Field.
