Fourpeaked volcano to the upper left is one of a group of poorly known volcanoes NE of Katmai National Park. Much of the surface is hidden beneath Fourpeaked Glacier; the few exposed outcrops are lava flows interlayered with volcanic agglomerate. Rocks near the summit are extensively hydrothermally altered. In the foreground is the 2.5-km-wide Kaguyak caldera.
